The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine's Press Office is the first port of call for media inquiries to the School. We are responsible for devising media strategy and developing the School's external profile, building strong relationships with the media, policymakers and other opinion formers, and ensuring that all interested parties are kept informed of developments through carefully targeted news and feature coverage, and through events and other external activities.
The Press Office at the School is committed to working in partnership with the media to help encourage greater public interest and understanding of science, tropical medicine and public health, and we are always happy to meet with journalists to talk through interesting areas of work, or to discuss ideas as to how we might participate in media initiatives to bring issues related to science and public health into the wider domain.
