PMBU Research on Trypanosomatids

Trypanosomatids are protozoa responsible for a variety of human diseases, including Chagas' disease (caused by Trypanosoma cruzi), leishmaniasis (caused by several species of the genus Leishmania), and African sleeping sickness (caused by Trypanosoma brucei).
