Social Medicine and Social Policy
Our research under this heading is in the Public Health and Social Medicine tradition. Our principal interest at present is increasing implementation into public policy of today's consensual scientific knowledge on essentials for personal health. Our multi-disciplinary research staff are drawn from different Departments and Units within LSHTM and bring together skills in public health, epidemiology, nutrition, gerontology, economics, social policy analysis.
