Background

I am a Research Fellow in the Department of Social & Environmental Health Research working on the PUrE-Intrawise project (www.pureintrawise.org). The project aims to develop an integrated decision-support framework for more sustainable management of indoor pollution associated with the provision, conservation and use of energy in buildings.

Teaching

Tutor on MSc Public Health and Distance Learning tutor on Environmental Health Policy module (PH206, MSc Public Health by Distance Learning).

Research

My research interests involve the interactions between the built environment, air pollution and health.

Before joing LSHTM, I worked at UCL on the LUCID project (www.lucid-project.org.uk) which is studying London's urban heat island. My PhD research, conducted at Imperial College London, considered indoor air pollution from outdoor sources in urban areas.
