Background
After my undergraduate degree in Human Sciences from Oxford, I studied MSc Medical Demography at LSHTM, then stayed to complete an interdisciplinary PhD and postdoc in young people's sexual behaviour and behaviour change, with fieldwork in Mexico City. I then moved to Imperial College, London where I continued my research and ran a Public Health MSc. I returned to LSHTM in 2005.
Teaching
I organise and teach on the Principles of Social Research compulsory module in Term 1, and also teach on the Sociological Approaches to Health, Health Promotion and Gender and Health modules. I supervise PhD and DrPH students.
