Integrating Public Involvement into your research projects and proposals
Date: Thursday 24 January 2013
Time: 9:55 am
Venue: Friends House, Euston, London
Type of event: Seminar
A free one day interactive workshop, jointly run by the Infectious Diseases Research Network and Healthcare Associated Infections Research Network.
Public involvement is becoming increasingly important in research, particularly in relation to applying for research funds. This free one-day workshop will introduce public involvement and illustrate the benefits it can deliver to infection research. It will provide an opportunity for researchers to learn about practical ways to integrate PPI into their research and will give an opportunity to present outline research proposals to a service user group with an interest in infection and gain feedback on the day.
