Visiting the Library
No appointment is necessary to visit the Library during our standard opening hours. You may wish to refer to our help for disabled/dyslexic users. Please email library@lshtm.ac.uk with any queries.
LSHTM staff & students
Current staff and students of the School may visit the Library during standard and extended opening hours. You will need your School ID card to enter.
Visitors
Visitors are welcome to visit the Library during standard opening hours to consult our specialist print collections. You will need to sign in as a visitor and show ID from your home institution or proof of home address when you visit. Due to space limitations visitors purely seeking a space to study or wishing to consult more general material that is also available elsewhere are advised to use alternative locations. Please note that visitors may not access print material from the reference or overnight loan collections, use Library laptops and computer facilities, or access electronic resources other than the Library Catalogue (including electronic journals, databases, internet and email). In exceptional circumstances it may be possible to arrange for visitors to access the Library outside of standard opening hours. This must be agreed with the Reader Services Librarian (david.archer@lshtm.ac.uk) in advance.
