Theses
The Library holds PhD theses written by former students of the School. The PhD theses are held from the beginnings of the School. There is also a small number of DrPH theses and MPhils held.
PhD theses can be requested at the Enquiries Desk. Theses from 2010 are held behind the Enquiries Desk. Theses from 2000 to 2009 are held in the Basement Store and can be requested using a Basement Request Form. Theses up to and including 1999 are held off-site in the AMS Store and can be requested using an AMS Request Form. Theses cannot be taken away from the Library - all theses issued to users must be signed for at the Enquiries Desk.
The Library participates in EThOS, a digitization scheme co-ordinated by the British Library, to enable School theses to be made available electronically. EThOS allows a School thesis or any other theses from the U.K. to be accessed anywhere through the internet, as long as a user has registered with the EThOS scheme. The Library has produced a guide on how to use the EThOS service.
