BlackBerry Scheme
A BlackBerry is a mobile phone and email device connected to the GSM/GPRS network. It allows your email messages to be delivered to your handheld without needing to download, to make phone calls, send and receive SMS messages and browse the Internet.

Purchasing Blackberry through IT Services
Staff can purchase and use the Blackberry Enterprise Server to manage synchronisation of email, calendar and contacts. In order to have a Blackberry you must have a Grant Code which the bills can be assigned to. You will need to fill the Blackberry Request Form (DOC 0.04 MB) , have it signed by your grant holder authorized signatory and RGCO and return it to IT Services by internal post or email alice.curham@lshtm.ac.uk. The device usually takes about a week to arrive.
Please NOTE that personally owned Blackberry which uses Blackberry Internet Service will NOT be supported on our Blackberry Enterprise Server.
