Lecture Capture Facilities
The school has a lecture capture facility. Lectures can be made available as audio podcasts, video podcasts and rich media. For more information on this, please look at the system we use; Echo360.
Recording is available in the following rooms:
(Please use Podium B in rooms that have 2 podiums in "open" Mode.)
- John Snow (merged or separate) (use podium B in open mode)
- Manson
- Rose Room (LG7 or merged) (use podium B/LG7 open mode)
- Jerry Morris (G14 or merged) (use podium B/G14 in open mode)
To Book a Recording:

To schedule a recording, contact the Teaching Support Office on: htso@lshtm.ac.uk
TSO will get the permissions needed to record.
- One Off Recordings or recordings outside TSO management:
To schedule a recording for one off events, that are not organised by TSO, phone x2363. There is a small fee for this Lecture Capture Service.
Before scheduling a lecture for recording, please acquire the consent of the speaker using a consent form for internal staff. A different consent form is available for all external contributors. You will also find other very useful Copyright Resources on this page.
Please allow 48 hours notice once you have consent. It is always good practice to let us know as soon as possible so there is plenty of time to arrange the recording. Sometimes we can do a recording at shorter notice, but there is no guarantee.
If you want the recording pushed to Blackboard, you must give us the course or organisation code. Otherwise, you will be provided with a link to the podcast, which you can then forward on to others.
