Conferencing Facilities
The School's audio- and video-conferencing facilities have recently been upgraded. This means that there are now two mobile video-conferencing units, one each at Keppel Street and Tavistock Place, and one fixed unit at Keppel Street.
Audio-conferencing, particularly where large meetings are concerned, has presented something of a challenge in the past; here again, new equipment has been purchased to improve the quality of audio-conferencing at both Keppel Street and Tavistock Place, and this complements the four existing phones already in use. All of these facilities can provide a real alternative to travel for meetings and can be used for interviews etc.
Advice as to the most appropriate conferencing format and venues in the School can be sought from IT Services and web pages with more information will be available by the beginning of October.
