ITD Computing Services
The Computing Services Team provide IT related services and support to all groups in the department. This encompasses all LSHTM on-site ITD operations and our personnel at research sites overseas.
Currently the remote locations include: CRU sites at KCMC, Moshi, Tanzania and Korogwe, (also Tanzania), and one in Lusaka, Zambia. We also share support for and IDEU/CRU site in Mwanza, Tanzania.
The team is made up of 5 members providing support for all school-purchased desktops, all laptops used primarily for work, printers and related devices. We also provide proactive, preventative maintenance to all equipment, and training where needed that is not covered by another avenue.
