LSHTM Careers runs a series of events during the year which includes panel discussions, presentations from alumni, a careers fair and careers skills workshops.  These activities are only open to current students and GradClub members.

Alumni Careers Talks

Our lunchtime talks see alumni speak about their careers and offer tips to current students. The current schedule is below:

Bianca DSouza, ACT Consortium Manager, LSHTM

Bianca DSouza is an MSc Control of Infectious Diseases alumnus. She now manages the ACT Consortium, an international research collaboration funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and coordinated through LSHTM with partners in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. She is also a part-time DrPH student within the Faculty of Public Health and Policy.

 

Careers Skills Workshops

Our lunchtime careers workshops aim to improve the employability skills of our students. The current schedule is below:

Non-academic Interviews

Interviews are often part of a selection process and may present the final hurdle between you and your dream job.  It can be a very stressful experience if you don't know what to expect and the best way to respond to interview questions.  This session will help you to prepare for interviews and will give you techniques to sell yourself effectively.

 

WEBINAR: International Futures: How to write UK CVs and Job Applications
