How we can help you
There are a variety of ways in which we can help you even though you are no longer a current student of the LSHTM
Online support
We have now greatly expanded our website and it is no-longer password protected. This means you can access online information, provided by us, on relevant vacancies, careers events, links to relevant organisations and resources that can help you plan and manage your career.
To see what is on offer, please visit the careers site at www.lshtm.ac.uk/careers
Individual Advice and Guidance
If you would prefer more individual help and would like access to a careers adviser there are several ways we can help you:
If you have graduated from the school within two years you can join our 'GradClub' scheme which will give you free access to some of our services and discounted rates to others.
How you can help us
Get involved with the Alumni Career Network
At the careers service we appreciate the valuable contribution alumni can make in helping current students with their career choices. If you are willing and able we would really appreciate your help in one, or all, of the following ways:
Indicating to the Alumni Office that you would be willing to provide informal advice to students of the School about your job role, organisation and work sector.
Notifying the Alumni Office that you would be willing to get involved in our on campus careers activities, e.g. by participating on a careers event panel discussion or as a speaker for one of our regular lunchtime careers seminars.
Acting as an advocate within your organisation for the School, suggesting the use by your employer of our online vacancy service and promoting our careers events and activities to relevant individuals within your organisation (for more information visit the 'vacancies' and 'events' pages of our website)
Many thanks,
If you would like to get in touch with LSHTM Careers please email us at careers@lshtm.ac.uk.
