I am the Administrator for the Maternal, Child and Newborn Health Group within the Department of Public Health and Intervention Research (NPHIR). Currently our projects include the NeoVitA Trial, a 4 year study on the efficacy of newborn vitamin A supplementation in improving child survival in rural Ghana; SPRING (Sustainable Programme Incorporating Nutrition & Games), a 5 year programme to develop cummunity based interventions to maximise child development, growth and survival in Rajasthan State, India and Punjab Province, Pakistan; and InScale, a 4 year study of Integrated Community Case Management of Childhood Diseases in Mozambique and Uganda. I am also PA to Professor Betty Kirkwood who is head of the group
