Lecturer in Medical Statistics

My background is in Statistics and Epidemiology. Previously I have worked as a Statistician in the University of Oulu, Finland, and more recently at Imperial College London studying genetic variation, growth and metabolic traits within the Northern Finland Birth Cohort Studies.

Teaching

At LSHTM, I have been tutoring on the Statistical Inference and the Advanced Statistical Methods in Epidemiology modules, and I am lecturing the Survival Analysis module in 2012.

Research

I joined LSHTM in June 2010 as a Lecturer and I am working on projects related to childhood growth and obesity in the UK and Finland, and socio-economic differentials in morbidity and mortality in Sweden (CHESS & Karolinska Institute, University of Stockholm) and India (SANCD, PHFI, New Delhi).
