I completed a Ph.D. at Karolinska Institutet (KI.se), Stockholm, Sweden in 2009. My work was about the Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK), Toxicokinetics, neuro PK/PD and drug delivery of the trisubstituted cyclin dependent Kinases inhibitors (Cdki). I am specially interested in NeuroPK and in targeted drug delivery to the brain. I have joined the LSHTM to work on the in vivo imaging models of African trypanosomiasis to support drug discovery programs for this fatal and neglected tropical disease.
