Steven Robertson BA

Data Manager (Senior)

My background is in Information Management and I have been working in clinical trials since 1998 when I first joined LSHTM, working in the Medical Statistics Unit. During this time I was the Data Management Coordinator for the CESAR, TMC and INNOVO trials.

In July 2005 I took up a job at St George's University of London as the Trial Coordinator for the international Asymptomatic Carotid Surgery Trial (ACST).

I returned to LSHTM in September 2007 to work as the Data Manager on the TXT2STOP project which is a randomised controlled trial looking at using text messages as an aid to smoking cessation.

I am currently working as Senior Data Manager on ERIC-PPCI (Effect of Remote Ischaemic Conditioning on clinical outcomes in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction patients undergoing Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention), REPAIR (renal transplant), PREVENTT (pre-operative iron to treat anaemia), REPAIR (renal transplant), REVIVED (Revascularisation for Ischaemic Ventricular Dysfunction) and safetxt (A randomised controlled trial of an intervention delivered by mobile phone messaging to reduce sexually transmitted infections (STI) by increasing sexual health precaution behaviours in young people).
