I joined LSHTM in September 2008 as a Research Degree Student and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Prior to this I was teaching in the Department of Environmental Health, Kenyatta University (KU) in Kenya. I have a BSc. in Environmental Science and an MSc in Public Health (KU).

I am a deputy module organiser for Environmental Health Policy in the Distance Learning programme.

Research

My research interest is indoor air pollution from household cooking energy in developing countries. My study is investigating the impact of improved cook stoves on indoor air pollution, personal exposure and health in rural households in Kenya.
