Teaching
I organise the distance learning study module in Communicable Disease Epidemiology. I also contribute to teaching overseas, currently I am organiser of a clinical trials training programme in Western China funded by DFID.
Research
Current projects include evaluationĀ of seasonal drug administration to prevent morbidity and mortality from malaria in Senegal. I am interested in design and analysis issues in malaria intervention trials, and in cluster sampling methods for health surveys in developing countries.
