Ana is based at the Faculty of Public Health and Policy where she is currently completing her PhD. She investigates maternal health inequities and health policy in Ecuador. Ana holds a MSc on reproductive and sexual health research and she is a qualified midwife and nurse. Before starting her PhD, she worked as a midwife in the Ecuador, Sierra Leone, Thailand and the UK.
