Before joining LSHTM, Frida Kasteng worked as a consultant in health economics and outcomes research at i3 Innovus, Stockholm, Sweden. She has also been a project manager of academic collaborations in global health and in innovations management at the University of Oxford, UK and at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden. Frida holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from Chalmers University of Technology.
Frida is currently working on the economic evaluation of initiatives to increase the coverage and quality of integrated community case management (iCCM) of common childhood diseases - malaria, pneumonia and diarrhea - in relation to ongoing scaling up of iCCM in Mozambique and Uganda.
