I have a BA (Hons) in Anthropology and an MSc in health services/systems research from the LSHTM. Before joining the School in 2007 I held research posts at the Royal College of Obstericians and Gynaecologists, the British Medical Association and the Department of Nursing at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Research interests are in UK health policy and health services, especially the sociology of health service organisation. I am currently working towards a Phd looking at policy discourse and the planning of hospital services in the English NHS.
