Research

Completed MSc in Medical Statistics at the school in 1993. Main interests in cancer and food and water borne disease, in particular gastrointestinal illness. Some recent projects: mortality and cancer risks among children with cytogenetic abnormalities; mortality and cancer risks following chemo and radiotherapy treatment; risks of Creutzfelt Jacob Disease (CJD) among children treated with human pituitary growth hormone; risk factors for campylobacter; and risks of salmonella infection from pigs.
