Background in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology but now the Taught Course Director (TCD) for EPH and the Associate Dean of Education (Technology Enhanced Learning & teaching). TCD role requires oversight of the taught courses in the faculty, both MScs and Short Courses. ADoE role requires operational and strategic oversight of the School's e-learning provision and technologies associated with classroom provision.

Craig Higgins's Research

Main research interests were in cancer and food and water borne disease, in particular gastrointestinal illness. Most recent projects included mortality and cancer risks among children with cytogenetic abnormalities; mortality and cancer risks following chemo- and radiotherapy treatment; risks of Creutzfelt Jacob Disease (CJD) among children treated with human pituitary growth hormone; risk factors for campylobacter; and risks of salmonella infection from pigs.
