Christina Gutierrez BA MSc

Coordinator (Fieldwork)

I joined the British Women's Heart and Health Study (BWHHS) in this department in Nov. 2009. My primary role is to conduct the day-to-day aspects of the new data collection for the next wave of the study that will be carried out until 2012. We will be collecting data on physical activity and social/environmental factors that influence Cardiovascular Disease and Type II diabetes in older women, measured by physical activity logs, questionnaires, and accelerometers.

I received my B.A. degree from the University of California, Riverside in 2006, followed by a two-year research/project assistant post at the University of California, Los Angeles' School of Medicine. In 2009, I received my MSc degree in Social & Applied Psychology prior to starting my current post here at LSHTM.
