Research Degree Student in Environmental Epidemiology

My background and training are in the social sciences and epidemiology, and I have more than 25 years of cumulative experience in international health, HIV and TB surveillance,  the control of vector-borne diseases, reproductive health and maternal and child health. I have travelled to and worked with program managers, evaluators, and researchers in numerous countries in Africa, as well as in China, and the United States. My current research interests are in the area of environmental epidemiology (particularly the effects of environmental exposures on perinatal outcomes) and the evaluation of interventions to control tuberculosis and malaria in developing countries.
