Tom Drake

Assistant Professor

I most recently joined the Department of Global Health and Development in 2017. Between 2013 and early 2017 I was a Research Fellow with the Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) and was based in Yangon, Myanmar. Between 2011-13 I was a Research Fellow with LSHTM and between 2007-09 a Medicinal Chemist with the UK Medical Research Council. I've also undertaken occasional consultancies for international non-governmental organisations.

I completed my DPhil with the University of Oxford on "Priority setting for malaria control and elimination in Myanmar: Geographic targeting based on cost-effectiveness" while working for MORU (submitted 2017, pending award).
