Coordinator of Searching and Information Management

Karen is the Information Specialist for The Cochrane Injuries Group. She completed a Masters in Information Management before coming to work at LSHTM. As well as running searches to identify trials for inclusion in systematic reviews and other projects, she maintains a register of trials relevant to the work of the Cochrane Injuries Group.

Karen teaches searching skills on the short course; 'Systematic reviews and meta-analyses of health research'. She also teaches searching skills to Masters students external to LSHTM.

Research

As well as working with authors to complete Cochrane systematic reviews, Karen regularly collaborates with researchers on projects examining best practice in Trauma care, injuries and injury prevention.
