Research

I work as part of group with an interest in conducting large trials to find effective treatments for patients with emergency bleeding conditions.

I am currently working on the WOMAN Trial which is looking at the effect of antifibrinolytics in women with postpartum haemorrhage.

Previously, I worked on the CRASH-2 trial - a large randomised placebo controlled trial, which looked at the effect of antifibrinolytics on death and transfusion requirements among trauma patients with or at risk of significant haemorrhage.
