Daniel Altmann BA DPhil PGCE MSc FHEA

Senior Lecturer in Medical Statistics

I joined the unit in October 1999 after finishing my MSc here. Since March 2002 I have been involved in a full-time collaboration with the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) research group in the Department of Neuroinflammation at the Institute of Neurology, UCL (Queen Square, London). NMR is the physical basis for MRI scans, and most of the work of the group involves using different types of brain and spinal cord scan to investigate the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis and neuropsychiatric disorders.
