Research Degree Student of Parasitology

I´m Nidia Acosta, from Paraguay, PhD student in the Pathogen Molecular Biology Unit of the Department of Infectious and Tropical Diseases. I´m performing my research on the genetic diversity and molecular epidemiology of Trypanosoma cruzi, causative agent of Chagas disease. Currently, I`m in Paraguay, making some fieldwork. I work in Paraguay in the National University of Asuncion, at the Instituto de Investigaciones en Ciencias de la Salud, in the Tropical Medicine Department.
